ohtc#.gif not copied for XHTML

With OHProjFileXhtml=No, the .gif files are copied from %OMSYSHOME%\common\system\omnihelp\ohvhtm\ to the wrap directory.

With OHProjFileXhtml=Yes, the .gif files are not copied from %OMSYSHOME%\common\system\omnihelp\ohvxml\ to the wrap directory. The other files in that directory are copied.

Omission fixed

You're correct, thanks! We've corrected the file list used for the copy, which was more explicit than it needed to be. We now copy oh*.* for HTML, and ox*.* plus oh*.* for XHTML. The directories contain only the needed files, so that works.

The corrected dwhtm.dll is in the public Dropbox now, at
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1868997/dwhtm.dll

Link not working

Using the original mifgo v4 Upd. 54, I have same problem (gif files do not get copied to the wrap folder when OHProjFileXhtml=Yes). I tried the link above, but only got an 404 error. Could you kindly provide a new link for the corrected dll? Thanks in advance.

No more public dropbox folders

We learned that Dropbox was going to eliminate their public folders, which is what the link went to, so we've gotten better at keeping the copies in the Beta section of the Download page up to date. You'll find the corrected dwhtm.dll there. We'll be updating the betas again this evening, as we are releasing a new DITA2Go version update today.

Thanks, got it

Files are copied now.

I installed that but I don't

I installed that but I don't think it fixed the problem. If I comment out OHViewPath=C:\mif2go\common\local\omnihelp\ohvxml I get the missing "viewer files were not found" message. Uncomment it, output works as expected.

Where are they reallly?

In your first message, you said the files were in %OMSYSHOME%\common\system\omnihelp\ohvxml but in the last comment you say C:\mif2go\common\local\omnihelp\ohvxml.

Presuming %omsyshome% is C:\mif2go, the files should be under common\system. They would only be under common\local if you had modified them for your own projects, and put them there. In that case, you would need to point OHViewPath to the local tree; the default for it uses the system tree.

%omsyshome% is C:\mif2go and

%omsyshome% is C:\mif2go and they're in both ~local and ~system. I followed the instructions in 10.2.2:

"Choose the control-file directory that matches your choice of start-up project file type (see §10.2.1 Choosing XHTML vs. HTML OmniHelp control files on page 322), and copy all the files to the corresponding local directory ..."

Another OHViewPath?

Do you have another OHViewPath setting anywhere in the %omsyshome% tree?

In particular, check m2g\system\config\m2omnihelp_config.ini. It may have an incorrect (earlier) OHViewPath; if so, delete it.

Also check common\system\config\omsys.ini; that has both of the possible correct local paths in it, commented out. You can uncomment the correct one then forget about it. I'd suggest just keeping with the defaults in system, though, so you don't get surprised if you do an HTML version rather than XHTML later.

Thanks, there was a wrong

Thanks, there was a wrong path in m2omnihelp_config.ini, deleted it, working fine now.
