D.2.3 Check for missing Microsoft components

If FrameMaker crashes when you browse for a Path in the Choose Project dialog, check to make sure you have a copy of library file msvcp60.dll in your Windows system directory. If this file is not present, or is dated before 29 August 2000, download a copy from:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1868997/msvcp60.dll

Place this file in your Windows system directory (\windows\system32 or, for 64-bit systems, \windows\SysWOW64) before you start FrameMaker again.
