Paths to OmniHelp viewer files changed
In the User's Guide, par. 10.13, we give the default paths to the OmniHelp viewer files as:
- HTML: %OMSYSHOME%\common\local\omnihelp\ohvhtm
- XHTML: %OMSYSHOME%\common\local\omnihelp\ohvxml
That is not quite correct; the directories are in the "system" tree, not the "local" tree. So they are really:
- HTML: %OMSYSHOME%\common\system\omnihelp\ohvhtm
- XHTML: %OMSYSHOME%\common\system\omnihelp\ohvxml
In addition, on initial release, the "omnihelp" directory was misplaced directly under common, and the two ohv* subdirectories had the version "12" as a suffix. These errors were corrected in the .zips dated May 5, 2012.
Note that as a result, you do not have to copy the viewer files to the "local" directories. If you modify them, though, you should copy them either to the "local" tree or elsewhere, so that our updates of the "system" tree do not undo your changes. In that case, you must also set [OmniHelpOptions]OHViewPath to the path where you have put your customized viewer files.
